Regal Bow plans to introduce two new sets of cookware in 1995. These are the seven-piece Kitchen Pro line that will cost $125.95 and come with a lifetime guarantee and the seven-piece Regal line that will cost $76.95. Both feature nonstick linings. The company will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 1995. Other Regal Bow product lines will be available in additional colors in 1995. The firm will have an anniversary party at the Housewares Show in Jan 1995.
As Regal Ware gears up to celebrate its golden anniversary, the cookware supplier is introducing two new nonstick sets that will be available to ship early next year.
“Kitchen Pro gives us the opportunity to target upscale mass merchants and department stores with a product that offers a lifetime guarantee and provides performance that the department store customer is looking for,” said executive vice president Steve Fraser. “Quality surpasses anything Regal has offered before, prompting the first-time provision of a lifetime guarantee.”
The Regal brand nonstick set “basically has different esthetics than our other sets,” Fraser said. “We are building on the success of our GreyTech line that has been available for several years. This is a natural extension to Greytech line with a richer, more upscale grey.”
Under the Kitchen Pro brand name, a seven-piece 8-and 10-gauge aluminum cookware set, coated inside with Regal’s Strataglaze premium nonstick, is backed with a lifetime warranty. Features include grey nonstick exteriors, clear tempered glass lids with stainless steel rims and phenolic handles. An additional seven-piece Regal set–made of 10-and 12-gauge aluminum–features generic grey nonstick interiors and exteriors, mirror finish aluminum lids and phenolic handles.
Both sets include 1-and 2-quart covered sauce pans, a 5-quart covered Dutch oven and a 10-inch fry pan. Suggested retail on the Kitchen Pro is $125.95, while the Regal set is priced to retail at $76.95. Both are slated for open distribution.
In other news, Regal’s Club cookware is now available with a speckled cobalt or speckled foliage green porcelain exterior with wood handles and knobs. The 12-piece sets feature heavy cast aluminum construction and ProGlide nonstick interiors and a 15-year warranty. Sets include 1-, 1.5- and 2-quart covered sauce pans, 4.5-quart Dutch oven and a 10-inch open fry pan, 8.5-inch saute pan, 2-quart steamer inset and a roasting rack. Available for immediate shipments, sets have a suggested retail of $144.95.
As Regal Ware marks its 50th anniversary, Fraser said, “We’re proud of our 50-year heritage of providing quality housewares for America and the world. To celebrate our golden anniversary we will be unveiling a brand new booth and selected 50th anniversary cookware and electrics.”
The company will kick off ifs 50th year in style with a party at the Chicago Field Museum on January 16. Coaches will leave the Housewares Show at 5:00 p.m. and will run continuously to all the major hotels in the Loop.
